Although we have found that new research reveals that only a small amount of calcium is needed for the body's daily metabolism, the bones and nerves usually need additional calcium in most people. However, it is important that the calcium be of good quality for absorption.

EZorb has been proven to be 92% absorbed due to its special small molecular size. EZorb easily crosses the intestinal wall and cell membranes, and is assimilated and available for use as needed by cells.

No other calcium comes close to the absorption level of this calcium product. The other calcium supplements that claim to be well-absorbed have perhaps 20% to 30% absorption.

(NOTE: No nutrient is 100% absorbed, despite what may be claimed.)

There are 130 mg of elemental calcium per gram of EZorb, but it is absorbed about 4 to 6 times as well as other calcium supplements.

For example, four EZorb capsules (2240 mg) provide 292 mg elemental calcium (the equivalent of other supplements providing 1200-1750 mg of elemental calcium in a serving). Similarly, two tsp. of EZorb powder (2 grams) provide 260 mg elemental (the equivalent of 1040-1560 mg. of elemental calcium in some other calcium product).

The raw materials of EZorb are extracted from plants and vegetables.  Not only is it well-absorbed, it stimulates osteoblasts (bone forming cells) in their activities. Most of these problems are at least in part from calcium deficiency.

Recommended
It is recommended for adults & children over 12 to take 2 caps of EZorb 1 to 3 times per day. The number of times depends on whether there is a known deficiency. If you are aware of deficiency, it is suggested to use 6 or more capsules per day for the first three months.

With the powder, 2 tsp once a day should be adequate for normal use, and twice a day if you are dealing with a known deficiency.

Later, when you are sure your bones are strong and well-endowed with calcium, you could gradually decrease to 2 capsules (or 1 tsp of powder) per day, while taking the multi-mineral we recommend for maintenance of all minerals.

In calculating how much to take, you must also consider the calcium that is in foods you are eating. For example, well grown (preferably organic) broccoli, kale and carrots contain good calcium.
On the other hand, pasteurized milk and dairy products do NOT provide good calcium, despite the claims. Also, avoid the poor quality calcium often added to commercial orange juice, soy milk, cereal and other foods.

How long you should take a certain level of EZorb before reducing it, depends on what your deficiency is, and how good your absorption is. Using a modest amount of EZorb in addition to ionic multi-minerals for a long while should not be a problem.

Note
